Drusillas Zoo Park

Drusillas Zoo Park offers the chance to get nose-to-nose with 80 species of animals, family-friendly thrills on seven safari-themed rides and huge adventure play areas. Make wild memories in an animal and child-friendly environment where the focus is on fun finding out.

Cuckmere Buses call at the Zoo Park with the following services:

Tuesdays & Thursdays: Service 24 from Eastbourne and Polegate.

Saturdays: Service 25 from Eastbourne, Polegate and Lewes.

Sundays & Bank Holidays: Service 26 from Eastbourne, Polegate and Seaford.

Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays during British Summer Time: an hourly service, known as The Rambler, from Berwick Station and Seaford.

Drusillas Zoo Park

Long Man Brewery

Long Man brew award winning beers in a converted barn in the heart of the South Downs National Park. They put environmental sustainability at the heart of everything they do, including making their beer from their own barley grown in the Cuckmere Valley. Their brewery shop is open 7 days a week and they hold regular brewery tours and tastings sessions (brewery tours must be pre-booked online).

Our Cuckmere Valley Ramblerbus passes their door hourly every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday during British Summer Time.

Observatory Science Centre

The Observatory Science Centre is an interactive educational and historical attraction in Herstmonceux open in February half term week and then from 1 April with regular events and open evenings.

Observatory Science Centre

Herstmonceux Castle Estate

A 300-acre estate featuring formal gardens, woodland trails, meadows and lakes, set around a 15th century moated brick castle.

Our Service 49 from Eastbourne operates to Herstmonceux Castle Garden and Grounds on Wednesdays from 2 April.

Pevensey Castle

Explore this dramatic fortress where William the Conqueror landed with his army in 1066. Delve deep into the dark dungeon of the moated medieval castle and admire the towering walls.

Our Service 49 from Eastbourne passes Pevensey Castle on Wednesdays.

The Seven Sisters Country Park

The Seven Sisters Country Park is within the South Downs National Park and has a range of walks and trails. There is a visitor centre by the main road with a café and gift shop.

The centre is served by our 39 Sussex Art Shuttle and 47 Rambler services.
